DatabaseLite is a small free material database that lets engineers explore linear and non-linear simulation in Ansys. About 50 material models are available, ranging from simple elastic behavior to plasticity, fatigue, hyperelasticity, viscoelasticity, rate dependency, and thermal models.
Materials include metals, plastics, foam, and rubber, with pedigreed data. Use the included CAE Modeler to create material models for Ansys Mechanical from raw material data, or use the plug-in to work with Matereality inside Ansys Workbench.
Free access
Start with DatabaseLite
Create a free Matereality Passport to access DatabaseLite and create material models for use in Ansys Workbench.
- Explore linear and non-linear material models
- Work with metals, plastics, foam, and rubber
- Keep the source of material data pedigreed
Ansys Database
Create CAE material files
Search relevant materials for your simulation in the CAE Modeler for Ansys. Download files to your machine or save them to your Matereality library for later use.
Saved files remain available in the CAE Materials Grid for direct review.
Ansys Workbench
Bring your library into the simulation environment
An Ansys Workbench plug-in provides access to saved CAE material files from your Matereality library within the Ansys environment. Follow the installation instructions included with the plug-in.
Materials information in context
Keep simulation files connected to trusted source data
Matereality gives engineering teams one place to organize material properties, CAE files, and supporting evidence before data moves into product-development software.
